Biography
Nancy Mance joined OMI in November 2011 as the new Grief Counselor. Ms. Mance graduated from the University of New Mexico Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 1992, returning to UNM in 1998 to pursue her Master’s degree in counseling which was awarded to her in December 2001. Nancy worked as a school counselor for several years and then began working as a therapist at the Albuquerque Rape Crisis Center in 2003 until joining OMI.
Through training and experientially, Ms. Mance has focused her professional development around issues of trauma and grief/loss.
